What will you do:

Switchboard volunteers offer a weekly service to callers on a range of issues ranging from coming out to information about sexual health. Duties can also include offering face to face support during the Drop In sessions and replying to support or information emails and letters from service users.

When:

The switchboard runs for 3 days and 3 evenings a week. Tues,Weds,Thurs 10am-1pm and 7.30 -9.30pm.

Minimum requirement:

4 hours a month.

Training requirements:

A 32 hour course is required in supportive listening. The training will allow volunteers to confidently take calls on any subject and be able to work through the particular issues with the caller.
