What will you do:

As with all small charities trying to do a great deal of work there is always a huge backlog in general work and promotion. The administration or core volunteer positions are extremely varied and flexible. We like all core volunteers to decide what work they would like to do and all volunteers are encourage to take on a Personal Development Project which develops the skills of the individual and results in a specific project being completed. (Examples so far completed include, creating a Gay Guide for Derby and a Book and Video Library system).

When:

Up to each individual.

Minimum requirement:

4 hours a month.

Training requirements:

Induction training is necessary for all volunteers. Additional training is avaliable depending on the interests of the volunteer (eg Sign Lanaguage, Computers (IBT I,II & III), Health).
